My Topshop Winter Picks | Fashion

I'm currently sat at home with some sort of virus, feeling sorry for myself and browsing the internet for things I do not need and probably cannot afford (it is Christmas after all) and I've fallen in love with just about everything on the Topshop website.  So much so, that I thought I would do a quick post of my top picks!
Blue Black Step Hem Jamie Jeans - I love Topshop's Jamie jeans, they are one of few styles that fit my hips and bum, but also stay skinny on my legs, not an easy feat when you are curvy!
NYC Slogan T-Shirt - who doesn't love a slogan tee? I seem to live in these lately and of course I want one that is a shout out to the Big Apple
Striped Super Soft Jumper - anyone who knows me well knows my love for nude pink, and I love the cropped cut and flared sleeves of this style
Love Yourself Canvas Tote - not only do I adore the little reminder to love yourself, but I think this would be a fab bag for all those extras that don't fit in your usual handbag - a cosy jumper, Xmas presents, bottle of wine...
Leopard Print Jumper - I'm not normally one for animal print, but I love this knit, and the pop of mustard is perfect - I'd wear this with a mini skirt and some OTK boots
Checked Mini Skirt - how cute would this skirt be with a black cashmere roll neck and some black boots, 10/10 festive outfit. I also love the retro feel!
Gold Extra Large Hoop Earrings - hoops are the easiest, most effortless way to make your outfit that little more fancy
Burgundy Waffle Sweat Top - I love the waffle texture, it is so comfortable and this colour is gorgeous for this time of year
Window Checked Slouch Trousers - these trousers would be perfect for when you've stuffed yourself with Christmas pudding, but still want to look cute.  I love the navy print and the paperbag waist
Rope Knot Stud Earrings - Topshop always have really sweet earrings and I love these! Ideal for a stocking filler!
Navy Saddle Shoulder Roll Neck - roll neck jumpers are a staple in my Winter wardrobe and the stitching detail and colour of this one is perfect
Winter Garden Burgundy Watch by Olivia Burton - Olivia Burton has some truly gorgeous watches (I own the Hummingbird one from a couple of years ago!) and this one is no exception, how stunning is that dial!
Ribbed Thong Bodysuit - I love pairing bodies with jeans for Winter; you don't have to worry about your tee riding up and your back or tummy getting cold, plus they always make the girls look 10/10 excellent...
Mid Blue Raw Hem Jamie Jeans - these ankle grazing skinny jeans will look fab with a pair of Chelsea boots, a sweet blouse and a leather jacket, and the colour will work in your wardrobe throughout the year
Stud Tassel Drop Earrings - perfect for every day or to add some subtle drama to a festive party look!
Scatter Embellished Jumper - who doesn't need an embellished knit for Christmas?

Charlotte Tilbury Beauty Icons Gift Set - Review

Five products to try!

Christmas is coming around at a rapid rate, it is less than 3 weeks away and I for one, am not prepared in the slightest. Seeing my fellow bloggers partaking in Blogmas, I do not know how any of you are coping, but I admire you all for your talent, determination and enviable organisational skills.  Whilst I haven't had time to put together an extensive gift guide, I did want to tell you about a fab gift set that is perfect for any beauty lover...

A Day in the Life - Stow-on-the-Wold

There's few things I love more than being a little spontaneous, and when my friend Gemma suggested hopping in the car and going on a little road trip, I couldn't think of a better way to spend a free Saturday.  Singing along to Kisstory and drinking our festive hot chocolates from the petrol station, we headed down the M40 to Stow-on-the-Wold...

How I Style - The Party Season

With Christmas less than a month away, I expect your calendars are just as full to the brim with events as my own; work parties, nights out celebrating, family gatherings, New Years eve, the list is endless.  One thing I see so many of us struggling with during party season is what to wear.  As much as I look like I'm channelling the 90s grunge trend on a daily basis, and not in the cool fashion blogger way, I do love a bit of glam during the festive season.  My go to look is to squeeze myself in to a bodycon mini dress (I like my legs and bum!) and throw on a leather jacket, red lipstick and some heeled boots.

Below are some of my current favourite dresses from Quiz*, who are nailing the party looks this season.  Whether you are after glitter and sequins, or that lush velvet number to make you feel a million bucks, they have something for everyone...

What events are you most looking forward to this season? Remember to stay safe, drink responsibly and have the best time!

Thanks for stopping by!

My Autumn Beauty Picks

When it comes to Autumn, I feel a little like the definition of "basic white girl"; I love pumpkin spice lattes, and berry lips, and log fires.  I love the warm colours of Autumn, wrapping up in big, cosy scarves and accessorizing with small gold details.  Now that we are well into the season, I thought it would be appropriate to share my top beauty picks so you can see my go-to products for the months ahead!

Too Faced Born This Way Foundation - Review

After seeing everyone and their mother use the Too Faced Born This Way foundation, I felt like I was missing out on something amazing. A couple of months ago, I decided to make a cheeky Debenhams order and purchase the foundation. But was it worth it?

Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Lips Liquid Lipstick - Review

In my last post, I mentioned that I'd got my hands on one of Charlotte Tilbury's Hollywood Lips liquid lipsticks and since purchasing, I’ve been very excited to write a review.  Could this be the best liquid lipstick on the market? Keep reading to find out...

A Day in the Life - Foodies Festival & Charlotte Tilbury

Last weekend marked the last Bank Holiday here in the UK before Christmas.  The sun was shining; everyone was in a good mood so what better way to spend my time than attending a food festival in London with one of my best friends...

Come Away With Me - Milan & Lake Como

When it came to deciding where to go on holiday this year, we umm'ed and ahh'ed between Spain, Croatia, Madeira, before reading an article where our favourite Chrissy Teigen raved about the glorious Lake Como in Italy, and when Chrissy Teigen tells you to go somewhere, you go...

A Day in the Life - BST Hyde Park 2017

I was hoping to get this post up earlier than now but between work, being sick and going away, I've not had the time to sit down and write it. Three weeks ago, my friend Abi and I went to the final day of British Summer Time in Hyde Park, London. Anyone who knows me will know how much I love music and I thought I'd write a mini day in the life/review post for anyone thinking of going to the festival next year!

My Summer Skincare - The Body Shop Vitamin E Review

I don't know what I've been doing the last few weeks, apart from watching Love Island, but I've somehow not had the time to write a new blog post. One thing I have been trying really hard to keep up with however is my skincare.  After swearing by the same brand for years, I realised that me and my skin needed a change...

A Weekend in the City - Edinburgh

Last weekend was a Bank Holiday here in the UK which felt like the perfect opportunity to hop on a train and go on a little adventure to the Scottish capital of Edinburgh. One of my friends lives quite close to the city centre, and after visiting for Hogmanay, I was excited to visit again and experience a little more of what is fast becoming one of my favourite places...

Embroidered With Love

One of my favourite Spring trends is embroidery. I love how it can add something fresh and different to an otherwise plain item.  A brand that is nailing the trend is Zara; every time I walk past the shop I want to run in and try on all the gorgeous pieces.

Save or Splurge - NYX vs Nars

Over the past few weeks, I've seen quite a few claims that the NYX HD Studio Photogenic Concealer is a dupe for the NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer.  As someone who is trying to save money when it comes to make-up and as a fan of the NARS concealer, I was a little intrigued and since NYX have recently opened a counter in my local Boots, I thought I would test out this theory...

Come Away With Me - Cornwall Staycation

These days, it is rare that we go on family holidays.  I guess it is expected when the kids grow up, get their own careers and move out.  When there's 5 of you working full time, it can be tricky to arrange to have the same week off.  However, in April, we did just that.  After losing our beloved dog in March, we needed something to look forward to as a family, so Mum booked us a lovely house in Marazion, Cornwall for a weeks holiday.  Cornwall will always have a special place in my heart; we had countless holidays there when my brother and I were growing up and I just love being by the sea...

What I Loved in April...

I had good intentions to blog more during the last month, but between trips and being busy at work, it slipped my mind a little.  Throughout April, however, I have fallen in love with some new things and thought I would share them with you...

What's in my Hand Luggage

I've always loved reading other blogger's "What's in my..." posts, and whilst packing for a trip to Prague last week, it felt like the perfect time to take a quick photograph of what I was taking on the flight...

What I Loved In March...

I can't decide if I'm glad to see the back of March or not. I made some great memories this past month, but I also lost my beloved dog, my furry best friend, to the dreaded C word.  With the past week being quite a turbulent one, I thought it would be nice to write about what I enjoyed this month and remind myself that life isn't all dark clouds and heartbreak...

How I Style - Office Lucky Charm Boots

I recently purchased a pair of Office's gorgeous Lucky Charm Studded Boots in Taupe Suede...
The black pair had caught my eye in Autumn last year, but I decided that the taupe would be the perfect colour for Spring. Last weekend my friend and I were lucky enough to attend C2C Festival - an annual country music event that takes place at the O2 Arena - for the second year running.  With their stud detail and western vibes, I thought my boots would be the perfect accessory for the occasion...

Hello...

After writing several posts for my friend's travel blog, I discovered that I quite enjoy putting pen to paper and talking of the things I am passionate about.

Deciding to start my own blog is something I have been thinking about for quite some time, and I feel as though 2017 is the right moment to take that leap in to the blogging world.

My name is Naomi, I am a 24 year old from Southeast England who loves playing with make-up, listening to country music and exploring new destinations.  I am hoping to use this space to talk about the things I like, the places I visit and the make-up I buy along the way.

Thanks for stopping by,

Nai xo
